Sekitar pukul 10.30 WIB, hidup Mbah Surip tak tertolong lagi. Ia mengembuskan napas terakhir sebelum sempat dirawat di RS Pusdikkes Jakarta Timur.
Sempat kaget juga ketika seorang teman mengabarkan berita duka ini. Dan suasana kantorpun mulai kasak kusuk. Sebagaimana ajaran mbak surip ketika menghadapi situasi macam apapun, semua harus tetap tenang.
Jangan-jangan kepergiannya yang cepat itu akibat dari pola hidupnya yang ngawur.
