Descendants of Genghis Khan AS, a nomad tribe in the territory of Kazakhstan is no longer united as when Genghis was still alive. They live fragmented and become colonized other nations, including nations Jungars. Oraz (Jason Scott Lee), one of the tribe of nomadic warriors are convinced that one day a child will be born who would unite their nation.
Hearing this prediction Galdan Ceren (Doskhan Zholzhaksynov), leader of the nation Jungars, then ordered his soldiers to kill the son of the leader of this nomadic tribe that prediction did not come true. Fortunately Oraz saved a little boy named Mansur (Kuno Becker) from the cruelty of the soldiers was Galdan Ceren. Oraz then brought Mansur and prepare to become a true warrior who will unite the whole nation which would later become this country Kazakhstan. Mansur struggle will not be easy because the enemy was not the only nation Jungars but also from within himself because he and Erali (Jay Hernandez), best friends, turned out to love the same woman, Gaukhar (Ayanat Ksenbai).
Reportedly, this film is a project nomads who originated from the initiative of President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan to improve the image, especially since the movie Borat: Cultural learnings OF AMERICA FOR MAKE BENEFIT Glorious NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN is as if laughing at former Soviet country is. Unmitigated fund of 40 million dollars poured in to finance this film.
The result, quite satisfactory at least from the visual side. Starting from costumes and sets that looked really worked until the installation of Hollywood actors as cast from the actual movie is this campaign.
I can not forget also the cast extras who allegedly amounted to thousands. Even if this movie was not making a profit, it probably will not be a problem because his mission was not to seek profit.
To call a film that tries to promote Kazakhstan perhaps somewhat ironic considering the four main actor in this film is not a local person. Kuno Becker came from Mexico while Jay Hernandez, Jason Scott Lee and Mark Dacascos is clear the United States citizen.
About the story, there is the impression that the film is forced for the 
duration of less than two hours. The reason is, there are some scenes that seemed unable to appear because of time. As a result, it is difficult to digest the details of the story of this film well. The idea is very simple story but in the middle of this simple line of the script writers made so convoluted and not easily understood.
Worse yet, the actors are not seen as full human figure. Whether because of too much restraint script or the actors are less able to live the manuscript, but clearly that appear on the screen can not be merged with the audience and make viewers feel emotionally involved with the characters and the film as a whole. One who may be constraints of this actor is the language. The supporters than four players had been using the local language and should be dubbing before released to the big screen. Unfortunately, the dubbing is also not that good

They had reayy strong army beacuse Great Khaan Chniggis his killer army was selected from oirad Mongolians. Kazak and Mongolian both nomads. Bodrov just play game between our two nations. Beacuse its money. now you guys know why this movie not real history.
